Welcome to The C.C.S.G. Website.

Noddfa Carers weekend away February 2008.

They welcome those of you who care for the sick or the disabled
in your homes, when you have the opportunity for a break.

Noddfa is the ideal venue for groups or individuals to come
away and retreat from their normal routine. They run Individually
Guided Retreats, Spirituality courses and other events and provide
the setting for groups to hold their own courses.

Our group go to Noddfa early every year, it has become
a very popular venue, if you are interested in going
please contact the group in the usual way, all being
well and funds permitting we will be going to Noddfa
again early in 2009.

And now a few pictures of carers from our group
enjoying a relaxed weekend at Noddfa.

'Noddfa' is the Welsh for sanctuary or place of safety and the
house has a history dating back 250 years. In medieval time it
was a burgess cottage, built around 1760 and protected by the
castle garrison, being within bowshot of the battlements.
The distinctive frontage of the house was added in 1850
by Samuel Holland MP and retains much of the
Victorian character and splendour with high
ornate ceilings and the bell tower.

Thanks to Margaret and Brian Robinson
for providing the pictures.

Wendy Lewis also sent us these pictures from Noddfa.
